This English Walnut cutting board measures approximately 12"×18"×2" and is both practical and beautiful. Its end-grain construction will preserve your knives since the blades go between the wood fibers instead of straight into the wood.

The rich color of Walnut stands out in any kitchen. Our standard end-grain Walnut cutting boards have square corners and a 1/8" radius on all edges, and are pre-treated with the standard Mineral Oil and Cutting Board Conditioner.

Stainless steel feet add stability, airflow, and a refined finished look—perfect for both prep work and presentation.

Each cutting board is handcrafted in our shop in Newtown, Connecticut, using carefully selected hardwoods and finished with attention to detail for long-lasting performance and beauty.

Upon receiving your order, it is recommended that you clean the board with a damp cloth, then apply another coat of Cutting Board Conditioner before using your cutting board for the first time. A water-resistant glue is used for all our Cutting Boards.
Most of our products are custom made per order and are non-returnable.

Unused Stock items are returnable within 10 business days. Approved refunds will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to the credit card or original method of payment, typically within 10 business days. Original shipping costs are not refundable.

All custom orders revised or cancelled after going into production, (within 24 hours after order is received), will have a restocking fee of up to 50%.

If you have any special request, please don’t hesitate to ask. Customer satisfaction is very important to us. We are a family-owned company and will do what we can to meet your needs and make sure you are satisfied.
Small Shipments

Small orders are shipped via either FedEx Ground or UPS Ground. To ensure timely delivery during holiday seasons, we may adjust shipping methods as needed.

Large Shipments

For larger orders, we ship motor freight on a pallet. You will be responsible for unloading motor freight deliveries from the truck. Please make sure you have the proper equipment and people available to do this. Be mindful that your order may be of considerable length and weight.

Motor freight carrier will provide delivery to your loading dock, parking lot, driveway, curbside or other location to which the carrier can safely and legally back the truck up to, at driver’s discretion.

White Glove Delivery

We also offer White Glove delivery to room of choice for projects within 300 miles of Newtown, CT (cost will be determined at the time of placing the order). White glove deliveries are made by a two-man crew with a small straight truck; Some larger projects may require a larger crew.

Studio 40 Custom Woodworking LLC does not pay for any accessorial fees when shipping. These are the full responsibility of the customer. Please note below.

Accessorial Fees: Additional costs for services beyond the standard pick-up and delivery of goods. These fees are applied for extra labor, special handling, additional equipment required, and circumstances that increase the carrier’s cost. Examples: Liftgate and Inside Delivery services.

Liftgate Fee: Additional Fees charged by carriers for the use of a hydraulic lift platform attached to the back of a truck to help facilitate the loading and/or unloading of cargo from the trailer to the ground level, particularly when a loading dock or forklift is not available.

Inside Delivery: Additional Fees charged by carriers when the shipment is moved beyond the standard delivery point, such as a loading dock or the curb, to a specific location inside a building or residence. Typical locations are the front door, garage, or kitchen. Please note: this service is typically only offered for the movement of goods on the ground level of a building. Most carriers cannot move goods up a flight of stairs.

Damage During Shipment

We take great care when packaging your order. In the unlikely event that there is any damage during shipment and it is visible when you receive your order, please have the delivery driver note the damage before you sign for delivery.

If your order is damaged to the point where it can possibly not be used, you should refuse the shipment, and we will get a replacement order made and shipped to you as soon as possible.

If there is concealed damage to your order and you find the product to be unacceptable, you must notify us of the problem within one business day.
